News Event
On April 18, Paws for Hope will bring together veterinarians, adoptable canines, and local rescuers at L'Arche Dog Park. Supporting stray animals and the rescuers who take care of them is the goal of the free event.
Additionally, it seeks to unite animals with caring homes, increase awareness of the difficulties encountered by stray animals in Qatar, and give local rescue groups much-needed resources.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet adoptable animals and hear their stories from representatives of a number of local rescue organizations, such as Pawmise Rescue Qatar, Furry Good Deeds, Cats Rescue Qatar, Paws, Moon Paws Rescue, Qatar Tails, Furkids by Nagham, and Streets of Stray.
Paws for Hope organizers pointed out that in addition to adoptions, there are other ways to help the cause. We are accepting donations of cat litter, pet toys, cleaning supplies, and pet food.
Attendees can also sponsor a pet's travel to a new home or make a direct donation to veterinary facilities for medical care.
Additionally, local merchants will be selling food and handcrafted goods at the event; the revenues will go to the rescue organizations. The event will feature a "pin-a-tail" game, face painting, balloon animals, and a photobooth for both people and pets for family entertainment. Additionally, OneStop Workshop will charge for its workshops.
