Lusail International Circuit ’s new QatarGP brand campaign was unveiled to audiences

With just six months until Formula 1 returns to Lusail International Circuit (LIC) for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, LIC's new QatarGP marketing campaign was presented to the public as part of the build-up to the 2024 season. The event also included representatives from Qatar Tourism.

Along with the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 campaign platform, "Where hearts are racing," they enjoyed a first look at some exciting new visuals. These visuals demonstrate the deep integration of motorsport into Qatari society and the goal of LIC, which is to empower and excite fans and families by showcasing the action and stories that Formula 1, Formula 2, and F1 Academy have to offer.

The campaign seeks to showcase tales that highlight the extraordinary event experiences occurring both on and off the track at LIC and to provide a platform that links the emotions of drivers with those of the spectators attending the QatarGP. It aims to generate enduring memories and emotional ties by utilising the sensations encountered throughout race weekend at Lusail International Circuit.

With a cutting-edge 5.419km track, first-rate hospitality, and excellent fan amenities, LIC has dutifully established itself as one of the most respected centres for elite racing worldwide. The location signed a 10-year contract that will begin in 2023, guaranteeing racing activity for enthusiasts of motorsports in Qatar for the ensuing ten years. Fans can anticipate an exciting new season, including the thrilling Formula Sprint Race, which will triumphantly return to Qatar in 2024 as part of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix. Before the Grand Prix finale on Sunday, December 1, racing enthusiasts will be enthralled by a thrilling 100-kilometer high-intensity dash on Saturday, November 30. 

The F1 Academy is one of two new support races that Formula 1 has introduced to heighten the excitement of the three-day event. This fiercely competitive all-female racing series aims to develop and advance young female drivers to higher levels of competition.

LIC is one of just six tracks to host F1 Academy, a worldwide gateway project whose mission is to increase female engagement in motorsports through professional training and grassroots activities. 

Subsequently, there will be the FIA Formula 2 Championship, an exhilarating single-make race with 22 identical cars that allows drivers to demonstrate their skills in front of a Formula 1 audience. Fans will be able to experience not twice but triple the action as it is expected to increase the overall thrill of the on-track action.

Phase 2 of ticket sales began after the early bird purchases proved successful. For the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, which is set to take place from Thursday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1, fans can purchase day and weekend passes.
