The World Summit Awards 2024 competition is presented yearly, to recognise and support creative digital initiatives that apply contemporary technology to address social issues and improve citizens' daily lives.
Eight categories will be included in the 2024 World Summit Awards: Government and Citizen Engagement, Learning and Education, Environment and Green Energy, Culture and Heritage, Smart Settlements and Urbanisation, Business and Commerce, and Inclusion and Empowerment.
A local jury made up of professionals and experts is in charge of evaluating Qatar's projects. From among the eligible nominees in each prize category, the jury will select one to represent Qatar internationally.
