The activities of the spring centres set up under the slogan “Good Manners” during the mid-year vacation has been concluded by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance. It is a seasonal educational, value-based, skills and entertaining programme which aims to invest the time of students aged 5-10 years and 11-15 years, instilling in them Islamic morals and educational etiquette and guiding them behaviourally and morally. More than 3,000 students participated in the programme distributed in 15 spring centres set up across the country, from November 20 to December 14, from Sunday to Wednesday during the morning period from 8am to 11:30pm.
The spring programme included learning the Holy Quran, educational ethics, self-skills, and recreational activities, to enhance aspects of faith and moral building among the targeted segments of students, and to make use of the study vacation period in the middle of the year for the benefit of our students, families, and society.
The programme also aims at promoting values and morals and developing their skills, through a group of educational advocates specialised in aspects of building values, according to a diverse curriculum and programme prepared by educators specialising in advocacy management.
