Ministry of Education announced the launch of summer centres from July 1 to August 8

This year's summer centres will run for five weeks, from July 1 to August 8, in thirty summer centres and youth organisations around the nation as per the announcement made by the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, Sports, and Youth.

Summer camps provide opportunities for personal development in addition to entertainment and games. MoEHE seeks to enhance experiences, identify and hone abilities, and cultivate a range of skills.

These institutes cater to students in public schools in Qatar, both male and female, as well as students in private schools in Qatar, spanning all academic levels and age groups (6-18 years). All children, regardless of gender, as well as those with disabilities, are welcome to register for this summer centre throughout the morning and evening hours, according to Maryam Al Buainain, Director of the Schools and Student Affairs Department.

Registration for the summer camps this year will take place online through the "Maaref" portal for public services, which will open after the Eid Al Adha holiday. Those who wish to register must obtain the necessary consent signed by their guardian, which include a pledge to protect the school's property, a promise to monitor the student's health, and an attachment of their ID card.
