Ministry of Labour introduced “Basher" service to register employment procedures of national workforce in private sector

The Ministry of Labour has launched the "Basher" service to register the employment procedures of the national workforce in private sector establishments governed by the Labour Law, as part of its commitment to increasing national workforce participation in the private sector and supporting Qatar's National Vision 2030. 

Basher is one of several cutting-edge digital services that the Ministry of Labour is launching to simplify processes for individuals and private sector organisations, according to Shaikha Abdulrahman Al Badi, Assistant Undersecretary for National Workforce Affairs.

Employers may increase the effectiveness and openness of the recruiting process by using Basher to submit and monitor requests for employment contract endorsement. 

This portal makes it easy for Qatari candidates and the offspring of Qatari women to examine, confirm, and accept their contracts.
