MoECC launched the environmental meteorological monitoring system using the autogyro aircraft

NewsIn the presence of Environment and Climate Change Minister H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) launched the environmental meteorological monitoring system using an autogyro aircraft yesterday. The first flight took place from Umm Al Shokhot airfield.
The autogyro aircraft and its contribution to wildlife protection in Qatar were examined by the Minister. He conducted the first tour of the aircraft, looking over the surrounding beaches and viewing a large portion of the Qatari mainland.
He was given an overview of the autogyro aircraft's capabilities, technology, and contemporary methods. He was informed about how it can monitor the nation's marine shores, provide precise environmental information and data, help scientific studies on the environment, and track wild animals and plants.
