MoEHE has issued instructions to streamline operation of education and training centres across the country

NewsTo improve the efficiency of education and training facilities nationwide, directives have been released by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's (MoEHE) Education Services Centre.
The ministry has instructed all education and training service centres to refrain from doing business with foreign organisations and to refrain from holding conferences, events, or courses outside the center's main office without getting permission from the Education Services Centre.
The only organisation permitted to provide licences and oversee education and training facilities is the MoEHE's Private Education Affairs Sector centre.
Law No. 18 of 2015, according to Director of the Education Services Centres Department Iman Ali Al Nuaimi, regulates education services. Article No. 12 states that a licensee may only deal with colleges, universities, or any other educational body abroad after obtaining a licence to do so from the authorised entity.
The kind of services the businesses offer must be specified in the licence.
Ministerial Decision No. 10 of 2017 governs educational services, and Article No. 18 states that courses must be organised outside of the center's headquarters only with the authority in question approved.
In compliance with legislative and ministerial decrees, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education establishes the guidelines and requirements that govern the functioning of education and training facilities in order to get licences that guarantee the calibre of the services they offer.
Additionally, the ministry offers the investor in the private education sector step-by-step support in the form of guidance, support, and communication. It also explains all requirements and arranges for official consultations and communications with relevant authorities as needed to ensure that the investor offers high-quality educational services.
