NewsA student support programme has been launched by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE). It will run until the end of August and is intended to help students apply for government scholarships, familiarise themselves with the process, and address any problems they may run into.
According to Noora Mohammed Al Ansari, director of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Scholarships Department, the department hopes to apply new ideas to streamline the application process for students by introducing and carrying out the government scholarship plan for the academic year 2024–2025. She stated that 2200 applications for scholarships have been received so far in a variety of fields for both local and foreign scholarships.
Samia Nasser Al Ansari, the External Scholarship Officer at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, emphasised the strong interest that parents and students have in public service, noting that between 70 and 75 parents and students use the programme each day.
She guaranteed that the Scholarship Department efficiently responded to questions from students on primary elections, university registration procedures, and scholarship requirements. She also provided technical help to fix technological problems, which sped up and simplified the registration process.
