Msheireb Properties and Schneider Electric signed MoU to explore enhancing smart city capabilities of Msheireb Downtown Doha

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and Msheireb Properties, the top sustainable real estate developer in Qatar, to investigate improving Msheireb Downtown Doha's (MDD) smart city capabilities. 

Schneider Electric's proficiency in digital automation and energy management will be utilized in this partnership. 

Schneider Electric will carry out a three-month Proof of Concept (POC) project in accordance with the agreement to demonstrate the capabilities of its Smart City Integration platforms.

In order to serve individual residents before complaints develop, the POC will investigate applications for traffic management, proactive and predictive maintenance of facilities for corporate tenants, predictive analysis for MEP facilities, and corrective decision-making.

The current partnership between Msheireb Properties and Schneider Electric demonstrates the real estate developer's ongoing dedication to enhancing and expanding its environmentally friendly infrastructure in Qatar. 

Engineers Ali Al Kuwari, CEO, and Faisal AlMalki, COO of Msheireb Properties, as well as Louie Jarouche, Schneider Electric's country manager for Qatar and Kuwait, and Manish Pant, executive vice president for international operations, were present during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
