National Health Strategy 2024-2030 to be launched soon to support the achievement of Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030

Under the leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar is strengthening its strong healthcare system, which focuses on providing universal health coverage for all members of society under the direction of Qatar National Vision 2030, according to Minister of Public Health H E Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari. 

Her Excellency announced the impending launch of the National Health Strategy 2024–2030 in the State of Qatar's speech at the 77th World Health Assembly, which is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, until June 1. This strategy will support the implementation of Qatar's Third National Development Strategy 2024–2030 and will be in line with the Thirteenth and Fourteenth General Programmes of Work of the World Health Organization (WHO).

H E Dr. Al Kuwari emphasized that the new national health strategy will address the main issues and concerns facing Qatar's healthcare system by advancing science and innovation, improving public health, primary healthcare, and the fundamental healthcare infrastructure. The strategy will also address health determinants by taking a comprehensive approach to health in all policies.
