New crescent of Dhul Hijjah was sighted in Saudi Arabia; the first day of Eid Al Adha on June 16

The last month of the Islamic Hijri calendar will start tomorrow, June 7, according to the sighting of the new crescent of Dhul Hijjah on Thursday night in Saudi Arabia. 

The Saudi Arabian Supreme Court made this announcement yesterday. 

June 16, 2024, is the first day of Eid Al Adha, while June 15, 2024, is the day of Arafat.
