The previous Metrash2 app will no longer be available as of March 1, 2025, according to a Ministry of Interior announcement. To continue using MOI e-services, the Ministry advised customers to download the updated app from the App Store or Google Play store. Additionally, it stated that the new software will function on Android versions 29 and up and iOS versions 13 and up.
The Ministry released an updated version of the app with easy-to-use features and additional payment options in December 2024. Users can request and reprint certificates, access a variety of services, and personalize their authorization with the new app.
A new feature that allows wife and children to register even if they do not have phone numbers associated with their Qatar ID cards was implemented in the most recent version.
