Opening nominations for the 6th edition of the GCC Housing Award 2024-2025 was announced by the Ministry

The 6th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Award, 2024–2025, is themed "Digital/smart applications and technologies in housing projects and programmes," and the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) has announced the opening nominations. 

The Ministry announced the four main axes of this year's award topics: the project's economic impact as a result of the applications or technologies used; the project's time impact and workflow improvement as a result of the applications or technologies used; the innovative and unique applications or technologies offering technical and practical solutions; and user-friendly applications or technologies.

Candidates must address a minimum of two of these axes, and the deadline is February 1, 2025. 

The top three winners will get cash rewards, according to Director of the Housing Department at MSDF Nasser bin Muhanna Al Mannai. The first-place winner will receive QR200,000, the second-place winner will receive QR100,000, and the third-place winner will receive QR75,000. 

Before sending nominations to the GCC Secretariat-General, the Ministry will check that they comply with the terms of the Award.

The MSDF requested those who were interested to complete the nomination form through the Ministry's website and send it to the international cooperation department before the deadline.
