Qatar Airways Cargo, which transports more than 285,000 tonnes of perishable commodities across its worldwide network each year, has optimised its Next Generation Fresh procedure for all types of perishable shipments, from fruits and vegetables to seafood and flowers. 

Each vibrant bouquet of flowers or colourful assortment of fruits and vegetables on display in shops and supermarkets around the world is the result of a complex interplay of well-coordinated logistics processes, high-tech cooling equipment, state-of-the-art temperature-controlled facilities, and experienced, trained staff.

Fresh Care, Fresh Passive, and Fresh Advanced are three sub-categories that guarantee the delicate cargo is handled carefully and professionally according to industry-specific standards, with the utmost attention paid to product-relevant temperatures, handling, transit, storage, and cleanliness. An extensive IATA CEIV certification procedure confirmed Qatar Airways Cargo's experience in perishables, resulting in IATA CEIV Fresh Certification.
