Qatar Airways has been named as the world's best airline at the 2024 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards

In the 2024 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards, which took place in London on June 24, 2024, Qatar Airways was crowned the best airline in the world. In the 25-year history of the World Airline Awards, Qatar Airways has won this honor eight times.

Establishing new benchmarks for the industry, Qatar Airways has reclaimed its championship from Singapore Airlines, which finished in second place this year, and ahead of Emirates, which came in third. Aside from that, the airline was recognized as the Best Airline in the Middle East for a record 12 times, the World's Best Business Class for 11 times, and the World's Best Business Class Lounge for 6 times.

In the history of Skytrax, Qatar Airways becomes the first airline group to win Best Airline, Best Airport, and Best Airport for Shopping all in the same year. 

Engineer Badr Mohammed Al Meer, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, conveyed his appreciation and pride to the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards. 

These rankings are the result of a thorough online customer survey that was carried out between September 2023 and May 2024. Customers from more than 100 countries cast votes, resulting in over 350 airlines being included in the final award results.
