Qatar Airways introduced AI-powered digital human cabin crew - Sama on the opening day of the Arabian Travel Market 2024

At the largest travel and tourist expo in the Middle East, this creative display captivated visitors with its technological prowess, paired with a state-of-the-art stand that offered multi-sensory rich experiences.
With the help of sophisticated conversational AI, Sama conversed with ATM attendees and showed off her familiarity with the range of services offered by Qatar Airways. The airline's QVerse immersive platform will see the ongoing evolution of its digital human cabin staff, which is intended to facilitate personalized travel experiences. This will enable the crew to respond more effectively to passenger interactions.

This summer, Qatar Airways will resume service and launch flights to the following destinations:
- Democratic Republic of Congo: June 1, 2024, will mark the first flight to Kinshasa (in a triangle with Luanda).
- Uzbekistan: June 2, 2024, marks the first flight to Tashkent
- Portugal: Lisbon will resume on June 6, 2024
- Italy: On June 12, 2024, flights to Venice will resume.
- Germany: First flight to Hamburg on July 1, 2024
Furthermore, throughout the summer, the state-owned airline of Qatar will provide service to the following locations:
- Adana: three flights each week from June 9, 2024, to August 25, 2024.
- Antalya: five flights per week from May 30, 2024, to August 31, 2024.
- Bodrum: three flights each week from June 7, 2024, to August 19, 2024.
- Marrakech: seven weekly flights from April 1, 2024, until October 26, 2024.
- Mykonos: four flights each week from June 7, 2024, to September 7, 2024.
- Sarajevo: seven weekly flights from June 1, 2024, to September 29, 2024.
- Trabzon: five weekly flights from June 7, 2024, to August 24, 2024.
