In Makkah, Qatar Airways has launched an off-airport check-in service, giving travelers doing the Hajj and Umrah a smooth and easy journey. This service was introduced in collaboration with Saudi Ground Services (SGS) and allows travelers to finish the check-in procedures, obtain their boarding passes, and have their luggage picked up from the city, guaranteeing a seamless trip to the airport.
Beginning March 1, 2025, customers flying with Qatar Airways out of Jeddah will have the opportunity to check in off-airport at the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont Hotel. Situated at the hotel's entrance from the L2 ring road, this service expedites the check-in procedure, cutting down on airport wait times and enabling pilgrims to comfortably and easily concentrate on their spiritual journey.
There will be less waiting at check-in counters and a quicker departure process for passengers who use the off-airport check-in service. Baggage will be securely carried to the airport. As part of its continuous efforts to improve its services for Hajj and Umrah travelers, Qatar Airways is launching this program to provide a higher degree of comfort and convenience from the start of their trip.
Designed to give passengers traveling on this holy pilgrimage the utmost comfort, dependability, and care, this service is a part of Qatar Airways' award-winning products. Having won the title of World's Best Airline for an unprecedented eight times, Qatar Airways is dedicated to improving every facet of the journey for passengers departing from Saudi Arabia.
Offering more than 120 weekly flights, including 35 weekly flights to Jeddah, and operating to 11 destinations throughout the Kingdom, Qatar Airways keeps improving connection and convenience to give passengers a smooth and remarkable travel experience.
