The Suhail season in Qatar and the other GCC nations will begin when the star of Suhail rises over the country on Saturday, August 24, according to the Qatar Calendar House (QCH).
According to QCH, the Suhail year has several distinct seasons, including Al-Murabba'iyah, Al-Wasmi, Al-Safri, and Al-Kanna.
The Suhail year's seasons have been used by humans for thousands of years to determine when it is best to travel, engage in agriculture and grazing, and experience climate shifts.
It is also said that the Suhail star heralds the start of seasonal changes and weather moderation.
