Qatar Free Zones Authority and FedEx Logistics signed MoU to facilitate the establishment of a regional logistics facility in Qatar’s free zones

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by FedEx Logistics, a FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX) subsidiary, and the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) to enable the construction of a regional logistics center within Qatar's free zones. 

Situated in the Ras Bufontas Free Zone, the facility will function under the FedEx Trade Networks Transport & Brokerage branch of the corporation and feature a cutting-edge logistics office. 

Following a fruitful panel discussion titled "Connecting to the Shifting Global Supply Chain Network," which brought together QFZ and FedEx Logistics, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Patrick Moebel, President and CEO of FedEx Logistics, and Sheikh Mohammed H F Al Thani, CEO of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) during a ceremony held on the sidelines of their participation at the Qatar Economic Forum.
