Qatar Museums announced that its animated folktale series, “Hazawy,” has achieved Silver awards at the prestigious Collision Awards

NewsQatar Museums has revealed that at the prestigious Collision honors, their captivating animated folktale series "Hazawy" won an audience choice award in addition to silver honors in two categories.
In recognition of the public's passionate support, the series won the Silver Award in the "Arts & Culture" category from the Collision Awards committee as well as the Audience Choice Award and Silver Award in the "non-profit" category.
Produced in 2023 under the direction of Sheikha Roda Al Thani and the Digital Production team of Qatar Museums The goal of the four-part animated short series "Hazawy" is to vividly depict the rich fabric of Qatari folklore.
Every episode explores the fascinating space where reality and the paranormal collide, lasting between three and four minutes. The series delves into the inner workings of the human psyche, exploring fears, hopes, and the mysterious essence of existence through visually stunning animation and gripping storytelling.
"Hazawy" has been acknowledged by the Collision Awards, which are renowned for honoring exceptional accomplishments in a variety of sectors, for both its noteworthy contribution to the arts and cultural sector and its influential outreach in the non-profit sector.
A worldwide audience can view the series on the Qatar Museums website and YouTube channel, where it is available in Arabic with English subtitles.
