Qatar’s real estate sector witnessed deals worth QAR3.191bn for 808 real estate transactions

NewsAccording to figures issued by the Ministry of Justice in Qatar, the real estate industry maintained its rapid expansion in the second quarter of the year, with agreements totaling QAR3.191 billion for 808 real estate transactions.
Long-term economic growth in the nation is anticipated due to a number of infrastructural projects and advancements, industrial expansion across, and government policies that encourage investment.
In the first quarter, 795 real estate transactions yielded a total value of QAR4.375 billion for the nation's real estate index.
With a total value of QAR1.26 billion, real estate sales peaked in May 2024. Real estate transactions in April 2024 totaled QAR811 million, and in June of the same year, QAR1.118 billion was reported.
According to the real estate market index for the second quarter of 2024, the most active municipalities in terms of financial value were Doha Municipality (QAR1.113bn), Al Rayyan Municipality (QAR831m), and Al Dhaayen Municipality (QAR522m).
Al Rayyan (26%) and Doha (25%) were the most active municipalities in terms of the quantity of real estate sold, followed by Al Dhaayen (15%).
The most active municipalities in the real estate trade activity were Al Rayyan and Doha (27% each), followed by Al Wakrah (17%), according to the area index for Q2, 2024.
Four properties were located in the Doha Municipality, three in Al Dhaayen, two in Al Rayyan, and one in Al Wakrah Municipality, according to the valuation of the top ten properties registered in Q2, 2024.
