News EventsQatar Tourism has launched a special edition of the Qatar Calendar to celebrate Qatar's football fever during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, as the nation continues to welcome football lovers from around the region.
January and February will include around 25 events, ranging from athletic championships to festivals and celebrity-filled exhibitions. This proves the nation's capacity to organise top-tier events, bolstered by its well-planned infrastructure.
Nine venues will host the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which will run until February 10. Fans may attend the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qatar Fan Activities at several stadiums in Qatar.
They can also enjoy the tournament at Hello Asia on Lusail Boulevard, and Sikkat Wadi Msheireb will host the Asian Sikka till February 10.
Riders may see over 115 horses during the Doha Tour 2024, which is happening at Al Shaqab till February 11.
The Qatar Camel Festival in Al Shahaniya runs through February 15.
February 2–18 is when the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 Festival will take place.
From February 1–14, Lusail Boulevard will host the 6th FAI World Paramotor Slalom Championships, where thrill-seekers may experience a world of loops and parachuting.
Up until January 27, locals and visitors alike may take part in Shop Qatar 2024 for a chance to win amazing rewards.
Gourmets may also explore an array of tastes during the Qatar International Food Festival, which takes place at Al Bidda Park from February 7–17.
The Qatar Kite Festival 2024 will take place in Old Doha Port from January 25 to February 3, featuring an array of multicoloured kites.
Falconry hunters may commemorate the nation's history and traditions during the Marmi Festival, which runs until January 27, or by visiting the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, which runs until February 11.
The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, which is celebrating 20 years of luxury and extravagance, will take place this year from February 5 to February 11.
Galleria Alhazm is hosting a ladies-only show from January 25 to February 2.
For those unable to attend, the first-ever horticultural show in the area, Doha Expo 2023, is still open until March 28.
Qatar Museums recently revealed that Design Doha would have its inaugural event from February 24–28.
Furthermore, until May 7, the Museum of Islamic Art will be hosting the "Shattered" exhibition, which features pieces by Turkish artist Feleksan Onar.
As part of Qatar Concerts 2024, Modi & Rehab AlShamrani and Najwa Karam will play at Katara Amphitheatre on January 27 and February 1, respectively, while the Nassif Zeytoun concert will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre on February 3.
