QFC announced a substantial reduction in its application fee for licensing an entity

The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) announced a significant decrease in the application fee for licensing an organization on its platform on February 17, 2025, in a significant step to increase Qatar's attractiveness as a worldwide commercial hub.

 QFC reduces the application fee by 90% to entice enterprises

The charge has been reduced by 90 percent, from US$5,000 to merely US$500, with immediate effect. Except for Single Family Offices, all applicants wishing to engage in non-regulated activities in the QFC are subject to this new pricing system.

The choice demonstrates QFC's dedication to streamlining business setup processes and is consistent with its larger objective to promote the best possible business environment. 

The QFC wants to make it easier for startups, SMEs, and multinational companies to enter the market and operate in Qatar's vibrant economy by reducing financial barriers.
