NewsThe largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, QNB, has partnered with Kidzania Doha, the top educational entertainment destination, to establish a Sustainability Arts Camp as part of their latest CSR project.
The camp, which will take place from June 26 to August 21 and is intended to educate and inspire kids via imaginative and environmentally responsible activities, will help the young campers, who range in age from 4 to 14, develop their financial literacy and environmental awareness.
The main activity of the camp will be a hands-on project where kids use recyclable materials to make their own ATM replicas.
The purpose of this exercise is to impart the value of recycling and original problem-solving techniques.
The camp will include engaging financial skills lessons led by QNB personnel in addition to arts & crafts.
Kids will learn the fundamentals of budgeting, saving, and the value of money in these engaging and entertaining programmes that cover money management.
There will also be a competition for eco-friendly costume fashion shows for participants. Children will create and present their costumes using sustainable and repurposed materials, encouraging creativity and environmental responsibility.
