The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) completes preparations for the much-anticipated race, with only 10 days left until the inaugural QOC Half Marathon.
The event, which is scheduled for February 11 at Lusail Boulevard as part of Qatar National Sport Day, is to promote sports participation among all demographic groups while adhering to Qatar National Vision 2023.
All ages, genders, and fitness levels are welcome to compete in the race's four main categories.
The four categories for runners are the 10-kilometer race, the 5-kilometer race, the 21-kilometer Half Marathon, or the 1-kilometer Fun Run, which is open to children aged 6 to 14.
A special training session will be performed at QOC headquarters prior to the race day to guarantee complete readiness.
Volunteers will receive thorough role briefings, official permits, and race uniforms before the big day. They will also visit Lusail Boulevard to practice their tasks on-site.
Those who are interested can reserve their place in this historic event by registering on the official Qatar Olympic Committee social media accounts.
