Registeration open for fourth edition of “Little Employee” initiative running from May 30 to December 30

Enrollment for the fourth iteration of the "Little Employee" initiative is now open at the Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), which was established by Qatar Foundation (QF). The program's objective is to provide children between the ages of 7 and 15 with interactive, hands-on exposure to real-world work situations, engaging their curiosity and encouraging them to think creatively and positively about their futures and possible career interests.

The program "Little Employee," which runs from May 30 to December 30, 2024, provides kids with a special chance to help their parents or other family members at work for a day. Children gain important insights into many occupations, as well as an understanding of the value of work and fundamental career principles, through this experience.

All youngsters are welcome to participate in the initiative, which has over 800 participants from the previous year and is quite flexible with regard to time. Within the allotted time, parents are free to host their children at work on any working day. 

Last year, the program received enthusiastic support from 21 of the top Qatari governmental and commercial groups, demonstrating significant support for its goals. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Nakilat, Porsche Qatar (Showroom and Service Workshop), Qatar News Agency, and other organizations were present.
