More than a million fans expected to travel to Qatar for this year's World Cup do not need a Covid vaccination, but must show a negative result from a PCR test taken within 48 hours before arrival.
According to the latest Qatar Travel and Return Policy, all fans over the age of six and Haya Card holders visiting Qatar during the tournament are required to obtain an official negative RT-PCR test 48 hours before departure to Qatar.
Qatari citizens and residents aged six and above must undergo a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival in Qatar. The tournament will begin on November 20 and continue till December 18.
This rule is applicable to all travellers regardless of their vaccination status or country of origin.
