The "Darb" app, which the Ministry of Transportation (MoT) has released for smartphones and other smart devices, makes it easier and faster than ever to use its digital services from anywhere at any time.
For small craft transactions in particular, Darb now provides a range of new digital services pertaining to maritime transportation. Beneficiaries can use Darb to register new small crafts, renew existing small craft registration licenses, change small craft specifications, replace lost or damaged licenses, delete small crafts, obtain ownership sequence certificates for small crafts, apply for mortgage services for small crafts, apply for mortgage release services for small crafts, and change small craft ownership.
Additionally, users can read MoT news and events on the MoT's official website by using the application.
Other MoT digital services will soon be added to Darb. They have to do with land transportation licensing and the affairs of mariners. The introduction of the application and digital services is part of MoT's initiatives to update the nation's transportation system to reflect new technology. One of MoT's main goals is to digitize the services. By doing this, the MoT is also carrying out its intentions to enhance the services and make them more available, simpler, easier to use, and accessible at any time, anywhere, which will increase public satisfaction.
