Seventh edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition S'hail 2023 will kick off on September 5

S'hail 2023, the seventh iteration of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, will begin on September 5 in the Katara Culture Village. Wide international involvement will be present during the exhibition's five days, which will go until September 9.

The event is anticipated to draw more than 190 local and foreign businesses, representing 18 different countries. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE-based exhibitors are anticipated to participate in large numbers. The organising committee for S'hail 2023 reported that construction on about 90% of the exhibition area and pavilions is already finished, and that preparations for the famous event are well underway.

S'hail is regarded as the biggest cultural and heritage event of its sort in Qatar and the surrounding area since it brings together falconers, hunters, and outdoor explorers. Skilled artisans and producers of hunting and falconry supplies attend the event. Additionally, it brings together significant domestic and foreign businesses who specialise in high-end hunting gear and tools.

S'hail 2023 will encompass a 10% more area than all prior events, according to the organisers. The addition will make it possible for famous hunting, falconry, and camping businesses from Qatar and beyond to set up shop under one roof.

Three zones will serve as the main divisions of S'hail in 2023.

• The main tent, which will house the S'hail Auction exhibiting rare falcons, will be located in Zone A. Additionally, it will display camping gear, hunting and falconry-related traditional crafts, and hunting supplies.
• Zone B, which will house the Souq Waqif Hospital Pavilion and be devoted to gun manufacturers, will also include hunting guns.
• Zone C will contain a tent reserved for off-road cars that have been customised for desert and hunting excursions as well as other camping gear.

A space outside has also been designated to display opulent travel trailers used on excursions and camps, along with a stage for academic talks and poetry readings.
