Shell recognised QatarEnergy LNG for its performance at N(4) facility in Ras Laffan

NewsShell has acknowledged QatarEnergy LNG, one of the prominent worldwide producer of liquefied natural gas for its dependability, availability, and production performance at their N(4) plant in Ras Laffan. With the N(4) plant emerging as Shell's top-performing joint venture in the worldwide LNG portfolio for the year, QatarEnergy LNG demonstrated an extraordinary dedication to operational excellence in 2023.
Senior officials from both firms, together with Chief Executive Officer of QatarEnergy LNG Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, were present for the prize presentation.
Ahmad Al Sulaiti, the asset manager for QatarEnergy LNG N(3&4), and Ahmad Ashkanani, the onshore operations manager for QatarEnergy LNG North, received the award from Cederic Cremers, executive vice president of Shell LNG, and Rob Maxwell, managing director and chairman of Qatar Shell Companies. Shell has been chosen to take part in the next LNG projects in Qatar. In the LNG sector, the North Field Expansion project is a significant turning point. The project consists of North Field South, which can produce 16 million tonnes annually, and North Field East, which can produce 32 million tonnes annually.
