Special postage stamp issued by Qatar Post on the 10th anniversary of Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies

To commemorate the academy's tenth anniversary of founding, Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has announced the release of a unique postage stamp in association with Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies. The academy's importance and leading position in military sciences, encompassing defense, strategy, administration, and security facets, are attested to by this mark. 

The logos of the National Defence College, the Joint Command and Staff College, the Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, and the academy building are all represented by a series of four stamps included in the release. Additionally, 5,000 memento cards will be distributed; the entire set will cost QR20, and individual cards will cost QR10. 

Using colors and shapes derived from the academy's logo, the stamps are intended to depict many facets of the academy's past as well as its accomplishments in the field of defense studies.

The new stamp is available from the General Post Office's Philatelic Service Office for collectors and fans of souvenir cards.
