The Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report that weather inshore until 6pm on Tuesday will be moderate with some clouds and chance of scattered rain at Northern areas which maybe thundery, warns of expected thunder rain at northern areas accompanied by strong wind.
Meanwhile, offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at northern areas, the report added, warning of expected thunder rain at northern areas associated with strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 KT gusting to 25 KT at northern areas during thundery rain. Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 KT reaches 25 KT at northern areas during thunder rain. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 FT rises to 4 FT at times. Offshore it will be 2 to 4 FT rises to 8 FT at northern areas during thunder rain.
