Vodafone Qatar ‘We Fan Together’ campaign team up with ‘Big Soof’; contribute to fan experiences in Qatar

News Vodofone Qatar Big SoofVodafone Qatar, under its ongoing ‘We Fan Together’ campaign, has teamed up with Qatari talent, Yousef Al Sulaiti - more popularly known as ‘Big Soof’ - to contribute to fan experiences in Qatar as the country hosts the world’s biggest sporting event. Vodafone has started releasing a series of rap songs by Al Sulaiti, one of the first rappers from Qatar in what is a genre still gathering pace in the region, and in which there are few homegrown artists. Fans will have access to the beats through Vodafone Qatar’s TikTok, Spotify and Instagram pages, as part of the collaboration.
The ‘We Fan Together’ campaign will run until December 18. Throughout the tournament fans can participate in a host of activities, offers and experiences.
‘Big Soof’, Al Sulaiti, who has also performed at other high profile sporting events in Qatar, is creating exclusive lyrics that are innovative in several ways. They provide artistic raps of the tournament matches and aim to engage fans in a distinctive celebratory mood as the event progresses over the next few weeks. Each track includes a combination of the Arabic and English languages and will be aligned with the emotional journeys of fans during all stages of the tournament. The first nine songs intends to familiarise fans with the various teams to build the excitement, hopes and dreams of fans and players. These feelings will then escalate through four special songs that cover the end of the group of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals matches.
Vodafone has also created ‘Fan Mood Playlists’ on Spotify and Anghami, to match their feelings and emotions during the event. Other on ground Vodafone activations will also be happening during the tournament.
