AFC Asian Cup; Doha Metro and Lusail Tram will commence its services at 10am on Friday

The Doha Metro and Lusail Tram will open at 10 a.m. on Friday in accordance with the AFC Asian Cup fixtures. It was informed on its official social media accounts that the aforementioned operation hours are only valid on January 19, 2024. 

On Friday, there will be three matches. The first one will take place at Education City Stadium at 2:30 pm will feature Iraq against Japan.  On match days, ticket holders are entitled to a complimentary Doha Metro day pass. Fans may pick up their one-day pass at any station and use it to travel throughout Doha. 

In order to avoid lines on match day, commuters were also advised that they may purchase a day pass in advance.
