Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 with a magnificent opening ceremony

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 was inaugurated by Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The event got underway with a magnificent opening ceremony under the slogan “Come on Asia”. 

This was followed by Qatar team’s victory victory over Lebanon with a score of 3-0 in the inaugural match at Lusail Stadium last evening.

A unique opening ceremony and stunning fireworks were added to the hosts' spectacular display of brilliance, which attracted around 82,490 spectators. The famous site that played home to the unforgettable FIFA World Cup 2022 final once again took centre stage.
