Arab world’s longest-running innovation TV show - Stars of Science returns for its 16th season, premiering on September 7

NewsThe longest-running innovative TV program in the Arab world, Stars of Science, continues to inspire millions of people and spur societal change. The 16th season of Qatar Foundation's (QF) educational television program will premiere on September 7 across several channels and online.
Seven applicants from around the Arab world will be extended an invitation to visit the Stars of Science studios, which are in Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a tech-based entrepreneurial centre and member of the Qatar Foundation. To become the Top Arab Innovator and take home a portion of the Grand Prize, they will compete over 12 weeks to create, improve, and test their inventions under the guidance and assistance of experts.
This season is expected to include innovative ideas, exceptional candidates, and gripping narratives that will hold your attention.
Stars of Science has encouraged a new generation of Arab inventors to think outside the box and take risks since its launch in 2009. Through the show, young minds are empowered to tackle urgent local and global issues and transform their concepts into tech-driven solutions. Stars of Science continuously highlights the ingenuity and achievement of its participants, showcasing everything from innovations in artificial intelligence and digital transformation to healthcare and sustainable technology improvements. The innovators in the show's alumni network who have made significant career or invention advancements and left a legacy that has impacted people not only locally but globally embody the show's heritage.
Stars of Science will debut online and on five local stations every Saturday beginning on September 7.
