'Ashghal' announced achieving a Guinness World Records title within the Lusail International Circuit for Longest Motorsport Pitlane Building

NewsWith the start of the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix on 6-9 October 2023 at the Lusail International Circuit, the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' announced achieving a Guinness World Records title within the Lusail International Circuit for Longest Motorsport Pitlane Building, which is 402.1 metres long. The pit lane building at the Lusail International Circuit is the longest in a racecourse. The announcement was made after examining the building and verifying it satisfies all regulations and meets the criterion for attaining the Guinness World Records title.
The Lusail International Circuit's Pitlane Building has 50 racing vehicle garages. The structure also includes a racing control tower with cutting-edge technology, a paddock area, and five-star VIP facilities. It is worth noting that Ashghal has renovated the racecourse at the 5.38 km Lusail International Circuit. Ashghal has also built new structures on 100,000 square metres with sophisticated designs and cutting-edge technologies. The capacity of the circuit has been increased to 40,000 spectators, with roughly 15,000 indoor and outdoor parking places for fans and VIPs. In addition, landscaping work has resulted in 180,000 square metres of green area. These renovations seek to create a unique experience for both local and international audiences.
