The 2025 Global Security Forum, which Qatar will host from April 28 to 30, will once more provide a global forum for high-level security discussions. In Lusail City, the famous Raffles and Fairmont – Katara Towers will host the invitation-only event.
"The Impact of Non-State Actors on Global Security" is the theme for the seventh edition of the forum, which is sponsored by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Qatar.
World leaders, top government officials, security experts, scholars, and members of civil society will all be present at the 2025 Global Security Forum to discuss the increasing impact of non-state actors on world peace and stability.
A wide range of side activities centered on regional diplomacy, emerging technologies, and community participation will also be held at the forum.
These include talks on international humanitarian law mediation frameworks, artificial intelligence in security, post-conflict reconstruction in Syria, and a special session on global governance held by Qatar University.
The forum is being organized by the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS) and The Soufan Center in collaboration with the Soufan Group, Arizona State University, New America, Defense One, and the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED).
