Dadu - Children's Museum of Qatar aims to foster learning and boost children's creativity

According to UNStudio, the chosen architect for the newly planned cultural institution, the layout design of the future Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar intends to promote learning and increase children's creativity.

One of the new museums being built in the nation is Dadu, the Children's Museum of Qatar. The museum's plan was initially presented by Qatar Creates in a documentary show titled "Building a Creative Nation" at the 18th International Architecture show - La Biennale di Venezia. The museum will be located in Al Bidda Park.

In the generated picture of the museum's external design, shows interconnecting blocks encircling the covered foyer, dadu, which means "play" in Arabic, is embodied.

Additionally, he said that the architectural concept for the museum was inspired by how ancient Doha villages came to emerge, where "there was a central patio where families would live around and kids could play in the middle and feel safe because the parents are near."

Families will be able to play and learn together at the museum thanks to its accessible interior and outdoor exhibits. Along with businesses like restaurants, cafés, and activity rooms, the museum's block-shaped structures will also feature interactive and thematic exhibits covering a variety of topics including science, sustainability, and Qatar's history.

"Our mission to nurture children's creativity, imagination, and love of learning is too important to wait until we open our doors," stated Essa Al Mannai, director of Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar. Although we are geographically separated, we believe that we are required at this time to strengthen families and link individuals and ideas.

One of the most recent additions to Qatar's cultural scene is Dadu, the Children's Museum of Qatar. The Art Mill Museum by ELEMENTAL, the Lusail Museum by Herzog & de Meuron, the Qatar Auto Museum by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), and the Qatar Preparatory School by Philippe Starck are a few of the new cultural places to look forward to.
