Doha Metro and Lusail Tram services will extend its metro service to 2am for the AFC Champions League 2023

An announcement was made by Doha Metro and Lusail Tram services regarding the extension of their metro service till 2am for the 2023 AFC Champions League. 

In the AFC Champions League on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the Khalifa International Stadium, Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates from Al-Nassr will play Al Duhail. With all of the tickets for the game sold out nationwide, a sizable crowd of GCC and local supporters was anticipated.   

To handle the expected influx of people on the day, it has announced certain adjustments to its service and Metrolink. For the duration of the day, Al Sudan bus station will serve as the destination and departure point for the metrolink M311 instead of Sport City. Instead of using Sport City metro station, Al Waab QLM metro station will service the Sport City and Al Waab service zones.
