The Doha port has received 3426 tourists aboard the Italian cruise ship 'Costa Toscana", within its third visit during the cruise season 2022-2023 in Qatar, on Sunday. The Italian cruise ship 'Costa Toscana" arrived in Qatar during Jan. 2023, and the Italian-flagged ship is one of the most innovative and eco- friendly ships with water games, swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants and entertainment halls.

The current season will last until next April, where 58 global cruise ships are anticipated to arrive, in addition to 4 tourist companies that will embark on launching their first cruises to Qatar.

The cruise sector in Qatar has contributed to promoting Qatar's status as a pioneering destination for cruise tourism in the region, as the sector supports the growth of the national economy in Qatar through increasing the cruise expenditures, and providing more job and business opportunities.
