HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, presided over the Cabinet's regular meeting on Wednesday afternoon at the Amiri Diwan.
A draft drone law was approved by the Cabinet and sent to the Shura Council for consideration. The purpose of the draft law is to create the legal framework for regulating the use of drones and all associated activities. Its objectives include preserving the safety and security of air navigation, safeguarding people and property, outlining the duties and responsibilities of the appropriate authorities, guaranteeing optimal use, and encouraging innovation and investment in this field.
