The official media accounts for Expo 2023 Doha have announced that registration for the volunteer programme is now open.
Registration is available via the following link. This week, the qualifications for the volunteer programme were also released on the official website of Expo 2023 Doha. These are as follows: the candidate must be at least 18 years old by September 1 of this year; the applicant must be able to volunteer 7 to 8 days per month for 6 months; the applicant must live in Qatar; and the applicant must have an outgoing and driven attitude.
The Expo 2023 Doha event will be the country's second-largest event following the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Over 3 million tourists are scheduled to attend the six-month event, which will take place from October 2023 to March 2024 in Al Bidda Park. The event also takes place in the same month as the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023, the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar, the Qatar Grand Prix MotoGP, and the AFC Asian Cup.
