Expo 2023 Doha, scheduled to run from October 2 to March 28, 2024, will be showcasing sustainable urban living

Expo 2023 Doha will begin, just over a week from now, and Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD) will offer visitors a glimpse of what an urban community designed in harmony with the surrounding environment and with people in mind can look like." The developer of MDD, one of the world's smartest cities and the world's first sustainable downtown revitalization project, Msheireb Properties, has been named the Official Sustainable City of the six-month-long event.

Over three million people are anticipated to attend Expo 2023 Doha, which is slated to take place from October 2 to March 28, 2024. Al Kuwari went into depth about the two unique MDD sectors that visitors to the Expo may explore: the Retail Quarter and the Heritage Quarter. Barahat, the largest covered public square in the area, Msheireb Galleria, an enclosed shopping centre with a supermarket, a kids' entertainment area, and a variety of dining options, M7, a creative startup hub centred on fashion, design, and technology, and Doha Design District, a cutting-edge design and innovation hub, are just a few of the attractions in the Retail Quarter.

He said that the "Masterpieces of Furniture Design" show at M7, as well as the satellite exhibition in the Doha Design District, "will be one of the key events open to Expo visitors," bringing "one of the most significant collections of furniture design to Doha." The aforementioned exhibit tells the 200-year history of contemporary furniture through a collection of more than 50 classic items. at the meantime, 100 classical chairs are displayed at the satellite exhibition "Miniatures Exhibition" by Al Mana Maples in accurate 1:6 tiny copies.

Al Kuwari also emphasised the tradition Quarter, which aims to give tourists a genuine taste of Qatari tradition. Four distinctive historical house museums that have been scrupulously preserved and rebuilt can be found in the district. They combine interactive visual and audio technology with Qatari tradition to provide an immersive experience. The Msheireb Museums app makes it easier for visitors to find out more information and schedule visits. The CEO said that the lovely outdoor portions of MDD, such the pedestrian-only Sikkat Wadi Msheireb, are decorated with quaint cafés, outdoor eating establishments, and stores, giving tourists a genuine and relaxing experience.

Al Kuwari addressed the issue of how people and communities might benefit from MDD's avant-garde strategy for sustainable living and urban development, looking beyond Expo 2023. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuous projects and knowledge-sharing that go beyond the cooperation with the Expo.

The second major event the nation will hold, following the World Cup last year, is Expo 2023 Doha, which will be hosted at Al Bidda Park.
