Expo House and International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha Qatar have received GSAS certification

The Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD) has certified both the Expo House and the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha Qatar with the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS). This certification is in recognition of Qatar's dedication to constructing sustainable infrastructure for Expo 2023 Doha, which took place from October 2, 2023, to March 28, 2024. 

The Expo House's devotion to extremely high sustainability standards earned it a GSAS accreditation with a (four-star) rating for design and build. The Expo 2023 Doha Organizing Committee used approximately 50 criteria to every facet of this notable landmark's design and construction in an effort to create a lasting legacy.

The remarkable degree of this accomplishment was acknowledged by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), which posted reports about it on its website. 

Additionally, Expo 2023 Doha has been granted the esteemed GSAS EcoLeaf accreditation, which is given by GORD in recognition of initiatives and activities that promote sustainable horticulture and agriculture. 

The goal of this accreditation is to improve the environmental performance and sustainability of large-scale events by incorporating sustainable practices into the design, construction, planning, and management of both temporary and permanent exhibition facilities.
