NewsAlong with Miami and Singapore, Qatar will compete in the F1 Academy's all-women series for the first time in its second season. This was revealed by F1 Academy along with the introduction of their 2024 schedule, which includes seven races that serve as FIA Formula One World Championship support series.
"The all-female series' second season is scheduled to premiere in Saudi Arabia on March 7 and conclude in Abu Dhabi on December 8. Zandvoort and Barcelona will remain for a second year, while Miami, Qatar, and Singapore will make their debuts on the schedule in addition to the hosts of the opening and closing rounds, according to F1 Academy.
The 2024 F1 Academy scheduled for Lusail, Qatar is scheduled to run from November 29, 2024, until December 1, 2024. The calendar, which will include both traditional and street circuits, has been planned to include the three continents of Europe, Asia, and North America.
An extended official testing programme will be released in due time and included in the racing calendar. The announcement comes after it was revealed last month that all 10 Formula One teams, who will each send a driver to the competition and livery one vehicle, would sponsor F1 Academy.
