FIFA announced on that Doha will host three matches of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024

NewsThe FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024, which will have a new format that involves stand-alone events involving the champions of six different continental federations, will have three games held in Doha, the International Football Federation (FIFA) announced on Friday.
32 teams will compete in this competition, which was announced in December 2023, to replace the Club World Cup, which will now take place every four years beginning in 2025.
FIFA announced in a press release that the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024 will begin on September 22 and conclude in Doha on December 18. There will be five matches in this edition; the first two will be played in the host teams' nations, and the final three will be in Doha.
The Challenger Cup winners will play Real Madrid, the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League winners, in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Final (Match 5) on December 18, 2024, Qatar’s National Day and the two-year anniversary of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 title finale between Argentina and France.
