FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 awarded for best tourism sports festival held on Arab soil during the year 2022

The Arab Federation Tourism Media Awards Jury awarded a special award for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as the best tourism sports festival held on Arab soil during the year 2022.

This came during the Arab Union for Tourism Media announcing the names of the winners of the Tourism Media Awards for the year 2023, which took place in the German capital, Berlin, on 8 March 2023.

The awards coincide with the activities of the Berlin Tourism Exchange (ITB), which will be held in Germany from 7 to 9 March 2023 with exhibitors from more than 150 countries.

The Jordan Pavilion hosted the ceremony, where Makram Al-Qaisi, the Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, announced the names of the winners in the presence of officials of the World Tourism Organization, officials of the Arab Union for Tourism Media and a number of tourism officials in the Arab countries.

The Arab Tourism Media Awards are the largest Arab awards for honouring distinguished governmental and private figures and institutions in the sectors of tourism promotion, hotels and tourist destinations in the Arab region, in addition to honouring the media supporting Arab tourism plans.
