Global experts have gathered in Doha to share insights on the latest advances in artificial intelligence during MLDAS 2023

The Machine Learning and Data Analytics Symposium (MLDAS 2023) has brought together international professionals in Doha to exchange perspectives on the most recent developments in artificial intelligence. The two-day conference is to promote cooperation and information sharing in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics by bridging the gap between state-of-the-art academic insights and the real-world demands of the business.

According to organisers yesterday, this premier event which is being hosted by Boeing and the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University—has grown to become one of the most important technological conferences in the Middle East. Since their 2012 agreement, QCRI and Boeing have worked together to provide ground-breaking machine learning research and computer vision for autonomy projects.

MLDAS has been held annually since 2014. This year, students, scientists, and engineers from Qatar and other nations may receive the most recent information on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge research and engineering projects from 15 specialists.

Elmagarmid underlined the value of QCRI's engagement with Boeing and stated that MLDAS was created as a venue for delivering and educating while presenting research findings from their long-standing cooperation.

Dragos Margineantu, chief technologist for artificial intelligence and senior technical fellow at Boeing, stated that QCRI has always been crucial as it is a premier research institute for AI, data science, and machine learning.
